STRINGS-CHAMBER MUSIC-ORCHESTRA:
The Welcome meeting will take place on
Monday, February 20, 2023, at 9 am, at the Académie de Musique, 49, rue du Château, 1420 Braine-L'Alleud.
The planning of the lessons and the practical aspects will be communicated on that occasion, not before.
Monday, February 20, at 9:30 am: Beginning of the lessons.
The course will include individual lessons and participation to the orchestra.
Concerts will also be organized. The course will respect the sanitary Covid rules.

The scores will be sent to the participant, 10 days before the start.
Each faculty member has the possibility to propose a piece and a soloist from his class.
The lessons will take place at the following places:

For those who want to add some extra days to their stay, we strongly recommend a visit of the following places:
- Battle field of Waterloo (on Braine-L'Alleud): 20 minutes walk from the school
- Brussels Grand Place and old city center: 20 minutes by train (Gare Central)
- Bruges: Medieval town: 1 h 30 by train - 1 hr by car
- Namur: On the Meuse river, Citadelle: 1 h 30 by train - 45 min by car

Tuition
APPLICATION FEE: 80 Euros (Not-refundable)

TUITION:
- Active Participant (strings): 220 € - listener: 50 €
- Chamber music: 160 €/person
- Orchestra only: 100 € (this course is included for the strings applying for individual classes)
- Second discipline: + 110 € (for example: violin and chamber music)
- Accompanist for strings: + 30 €
(3 x 1 hr- 2 pieces max) Strings needing a pianist have to forward the scores as
pdf file AND assembled copies-ready for use- by post, at application.
- Special reduction on Tuition (not on application fee):
150 € (220 Euros)
(under 10 years: 90 Euros)

Refund Policy:
Application Deadline: February 10, 2023
- Cancellation before February 10, 2023: refund 50% of the tuition
- Cancellation before on February 14, 2023: refund 25% of the tuition
- No refunding if cancelling February,14 2023 and beyond
- The application fee is not refundable.
Only the students who paid the complete amount (tuition + application fee) will be scheduled for the lessons.
